Our Inspiration
Brad's House is more than a place; it's a living tribute to a remarkable individual who left an indelible mark on the world. Founded in memory of Brad Barton, a person whose passion for life touched countless hearts, our mission is to carry forward his spirit of optimism, love, and passion for life with every child that enters our doors.
Our Story
Recognizing the crucial need for youth support networks in southern Colorado, Nicholas Thompson embarked on a mission after years of collaborating with a local organization. Following months of meticulous planning, fundraising, and coordination with state agencies, Brad's House emerged as a beacon of hope, officially opening its doors in November 2017.
Since 2017 Brad’s House has expanded; opening a non-profit in 2021, opening a second RCCF-QRTP in Pueblo, CO in 2023 and a mentoring program to maintain foster placement in Greeley, CO.
How (and where) We Operate
Brad's House houses underprivileged young men that is as a trauma-informed care facility within multiple regions throughout Colorado. Our mission is to connect, engage, and to create safe spaces for one of the most underserved population of children within the foster care system.
Above and Beyond Brad’s House is a Non-profit
that works with the residential child care facilities and families in need.

Momument & Pueblo:
Our Monument and Pueblo based youth homes offer continuous care and support to at-risk young men navigating intense trauma. With our dedicated staff and support teams available round-the-clock, we provide Quality Residential Treatment using proven TBRI Methods. Every child who enters our doors receives the necessary support and tools to thrive.
Greeley:
Our Greeley Advocacy Center offers counseling and support to children and parents who are navigating the complexities of ongoing trauma. Each of our compassionate team members work closely with individuals during their most challenging moments, providing essential structure and guiding principles to help them overcome their obstacles and find a path forward.
